WWDC20 will include a Keynote, the Platforms State of the Union event, more than 100 engineering sessions, new developer forums, one-on-one sessions with over a thousand Apple engineers, and much more.

Keynote for the special event

June 22 at 19:00 CET

Users will discover the latest news coming to Apple platforms later this year. The Keynote will be streamed live from Apple Park via apple.com, the Apple Developer app and website, the Apple TV app and YouTube, and will also be playable on demand after the broadcast. Viewers in China will be able to watch it on Tencent, iQIYI, Bilibili and Youku.




State of the Union platforms

June 22 at 23:00 CET

Users will learn everything Apple's top engineers have to say about the latest developments in iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS, and watchOS. This event can also be played on demand in the Apple Developer app and website. Viewers in China will be able to watch it on Tencent, iQIYI, Bilibili and YouKu.

More than one hundred engineering sessions

23 26-June

Starting June 23, developers can find out how the apps of the future will be created with more than 100 technical and design sessions created by Apple engineers. We will post the videos daily at 19pm CET and will also be available in the Apple Developer app for iPhone, iPad and Apple TV, as well as on the Apple Developer website.

New developer forums

A completely new design from June 18th


The new Apple Developer Forums will connect the Apple developer community with over a thousand engineers who will answer their questions and discuss technical interviews with them.



From day one of WWDC, everyone will be able to search forum discussions to stay online, and Apple Developer Program participants will be able to post their questions and see answers from Apple experts.

Individual sessions with developers (by appointment)

23 26-June


Developers will be able to make an appointment with the Apple engineers who helped design the latest advancements in Apple platforms, providing them with technical guidance and in-depth details on how to implement new features.


These sessions will be available to Apple Developer Program participants as long as there are seats.

On June 16, Apple will honor budding developers around the world by announcing the finalists of the Swift Student Challenge, an opportunity for students of all ages to show how much they love to code by building their own playground on Swift.


All developers are advised to download the Apple Developer app, which will include updates on WWDC20 before June 22.
