developers can now access Xcode Cloud

Apple has begun informing developers that they can use the new Xcode Cloud service which was unveiled at the Worldwide Developers Conference in June.

"We are pleased to inform you that your account has been enabled for the Xcode Cloud beta," reads the email sent to the developers. "You can now take advantage of the continuous integration and delivery service built into Xcode 13."

Xcode Cloud is a cloud-based Xcode service that allows developers to build, test, and deliver high-quality applications in the cloud instead of directly on a Mac.

Xcode Cloud is a new seamless integration and delivery cloud service designed specifically for Apple developers. Integrated into Xcode 13, Xcode Cloud offers a quick and easy way for developers and teams of all sizes to build, test and deploy high-quality applications even more efficiently. Xcode Cloud can automatically create cloud applications to free developers' Macs for other tasks. Parallel testing in the cloud means developers can test on a simulated version of every current Apple device, then easily deploy an app build for internal testing or hand it over to external beta testers via TestFlight for instant feedback.

Apple has allowed developers to join the Xcode Cloud waitlist before now, and there are more developers on Twitter that have been granted beta access.

All developers with an account in the Apple Developer Program starting June 7, 2021 can join Xcode Cloud, although a Mac with the latest beta of Xcode 13 is required.
