After years of waiting, Disney Plus is already a reality in the United States, a country that has arrived with a large catalog of series and films that seriously threatens the rest of the video on demand services.

The novice witch (1971)

Angela Lansbury stars in this adaptation of the books The Magic Bed-Knob and Bonfires and Broomsticks, by Mary Norton. The film tells the story of Eglantine Price (Lansbury), a witch who welcomes three evacuated children into her home from London during World War II. Together they will try to find the spell that ends the international confrontation.

The Haunted Mountain (1975)

This classic stars Tia (Kim Richards) and Tony (Ike Eisenmann), two children with magical powers which attract the attention of Lucas Deranian (Donald Pleasence), a man who wants to use those powers to his advantage. However, Jason (Eddie Albert) will help the youngsters escape the haunted mountain where they were captured.

101 Dalmatians (1961)

As you can see, Disney Plus has authentic cinematic gems from a few decades ago. Who hasn't seen 101 Dalmatians? If you have not already done so, you can do it on the platform and thus meet Pongo, Perdita and their 15 Dalmatian puppies, threatened by the evil Crudelia de Ville, who is willing to kidnap animals to make a coat out of their skins.




The Legend of Sleepy Hollow and Mr. Toad (1949)

It's been 70 years since the first of this film consisting of two short films: Mr. Toad and The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. Disney had a hard time releasing the first, and when it looked like it wasn't going to make it, they decided to combine it with the adaptation of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow to launch a single film. Despite these teething problems, everything went well, and both shorts are still available decades later.

Bolt (2008)

This film, belonging to the Disney factory, tells the story of Bolt, a dog of great ability there whose life changes after moving to New York. There, with the help of Mittens and Rino, Bolt realizes that he doesn't need those powers to be a hero.

Ocean Mysteries (2005)

Director James Cameron (Avatar) directs this documentary shot in IMAX 3-D with the aim of showing the unknown world of the deep sea. It does so by following the work of some scientists who study the strange creatures that inhabit it.

Flight of the Navigator (1986)

David, a 12 year old boy, is playing close to home when he has an accident and loses consciousness. Upon awakening, the protagonist believes that only a few minutes have passed, but in reality it has been eight years, a period during which his family has moved and has been reported missing. As if that were not enough, David is persecuted by NASA, which ensures that he has been kidnapped.


Fantasy 2000 (1999)

This Disney animated film is a tribute to Fantasia, the company's feature film released in 1940. Fantasy 2000 consists of eight different episodes, including The Sorcerer's Apprentice, the classic with Mickey Mouse.



Libero Solo (2018)

This documentary, produced and distributed by National Geographic, tells the story of climber Alex Honnold in his attempt to climb without ropes or harnesses El Capitan, an imposing wall in Yosemite National Park, in the United States. The quality of this documentary was recognized by the American Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences with the Oscar for Best Documentary.

Iron Man (2008)

Robert Downey Jr. takes on the role of Iron Man, the well-known Iron Man. In this first film, billionaire Tony Stark wears the superhero costume to become Iron Man and thus fight against the evils that threaten the world.

In and Out (2015)

Riley is a young American trying to adjust to her new life in San Francisco. She and her emotions, joy, fear, sorrow, anger and sadness, which live in the headquarters, try. After the change of city, problems arise between Riley's emotions, who disagree in saying what is the best way to act in this new life.

James and the Giant Peach (1996)

Based on the book of the same name by Roald Dahl, this film tells the story of James, a 7-year-old boy who is forced to live with his evil aunts Spiker and Sponge after the death of his parents. Everything changes when a huge peach starts growing in the garden. He, and a spider visiting the house, will help James overcome his fear of aunts to be free.


Lilo and Stitch (2002)

Stitch is a dog, or so young Lilo thinks when she adopts him. However, the reality is very different and Stitch is a creature created during a genetic experiment that has escaped from an alien planet. Despite this detail, Lilo and Stitch develop a close relationship which makes them inseparable.



Journey to the Center of the Earth (1959)

Professor Lindenbrook receives a mysterious rock in which he finds the directions to the center of the Earth. Together with his pupil Alec, Carla Goetabaug and Hans, the teacher sets out to reach this destination, thus starting a journey that will be full of surprising but also dangerous adventures.

The Miracle (2004)

Herb Brooks is a hockey player turned coach who lead the American team during Olympics winter of 1980. In that competition, he will face the seemingly invincible Soviet Union. This is the story told by The Miracle, a film based on real events and which is now available on Disney Plus.

You in Boston and me in California (1961)

This comedy, based on the children's novel Las dos Carlotas, stars Sharon and Susan, two identical-looking girls who meet while camping. After discovering that they are twin sisters, the two begin a plan to get their parents back together. In 1998, Lindsay Lohan starred in a new version of the story in the popular You to London and Me to California.

The Muppets Movie (1959)

During his trip to Hollywood for become a star of the show, Kermit the Frog meets Fozzie, Gonzo and the pig Peggy, who join him in his quest to reign in Hollywood. However, the protagonists will have to overcome the obstacles that stand between them and success.

Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the First Moon (2003)

Captain Jack Sparrow sails calmly in Caribbean waters when Captain Barbossa steals his ship, the Black Pearl, to attack the city of Port Royal and kidnap the governor's daughter, Elizabeth Swann. Will Turner, Swann's childhood friend, teams up with Sparrow in an attempt to save the young woman. However, they are unaware that the Black Pearl's crew suffers a curse that condemns them to live forever and become living skeletons every night.

The Queen of Katwe (2016)

This biopic tells the story of Phiona Mutesi, a young woman from Uganda who becomes a chess prodigy with the help of his coach, Robert Katende. Thanks to his incredible progress, Mutesi has participated in international tournaments, becoming part of the 2010 chess Olympics.

Tiana e la rana (2009)

Tiana dreams of opening the best restaurant in New Orleans one day when she meets Prince Naveen, who has been turned into a toad by Dr. Facilier. Hoping to break the spell, Naveen kisses Tiana, turning her into a frog. To reverse the situation, they both embark on an adventure through the swamps looking for someone who can help them.

Oz, a fantasy world (1985)

Dorothy is admitted to a clinic for her sleep problems when a storm strikes and causes a blackout. During the accident, the protagonist is saved by a mysterious girl who warns her of the treatment to be received. While escaping, Dorothy falls into a river running there brings back to Oz, very different from how he left it.

Who Betrayed Roger Rabbit? (1988)

Eddie Valiant is a detective investigating Marvin Acme, accused of being after Jessica Rabbit, wife of superstar Roger Rabbit. During the investigation, Acme is found murdered and all eyes turn to Rabbit, who asks Valiant for help to prove that you are not the culprit.

Tron: Legacy (2010)

This sci-fi movie begins when Sam Flynn, a young programmer, enter a dangerous world while investigating the death of his father, Kevin Flynn. She discovers that her father has lived in parallel in this universe for 25 years. Together, and with the help of a girl, they embark on a dangerous adventure through that particular cyber world.

The Rocket Launcher (1991)

In 30s Hollywood, a secret weapon is in the hands of the Los Angeles mafia, hunted by the FBI. In turn, Nazi Germany is also trying to get hold of this invention. However, casually, the weapon is in the possession of the pilot Cliff Secord, that everyone begins to chase to take possession of such a precious object.

Our Gang (1993)

After moving to a new town with his parents, Scotty Smalls is not accepted by some classmates, who make fun of him for not knowing how to throw a baseball.
