It has left the tablet market, its Chromebooks don't finish leaving outside countries like the United States, and smartwatches with Wear OS are still light years away from the Apple Watch. Fortunately, with Android 12 all of this could change.
Android 12 is the biggest revolution in recent years. It is not only a total facelift in terms of interface, but also of intentions. The first step in the total renewal of Wear OS and its alliance with a giant like Samsung.
WearOS was combined with Tizen to improve the performance and autonomy of watches. In addition, the development platform was unified, welcoming Tizen developers. Both Google and Samsung are interested in competing with Apple in this market, so great results can come from this alliance.
For all this it is time for Google to put the batteries. Let Android 12 be the game changer for building your ecosystem. We don't intend it to become the new Apple, but we learn something from them.
Create an operating system that in addition to being able to enjoy it on a mobile phone, we can use it on tablets, watches and computers such as Chromebooks or at least, all these devices complement each other. Let Google do what it takes to look like Apple in this respect. May Android 12 be the game changer we all want.
