How to edit an Instagram post quickly and easily
How many times have it happened to us that we have made a publication and once we have shared it, we realize that we have made a mistake, or an error in the text, or that we simply forgot to add some details such as the tagging people, location, hashtags or some other description.
However, today it is very easy to correct and edit an Instagram post. The first thing to do is to enter the Instagram application and search for the post you have already published and that you want to change.
Once you have located the aforementioned post, what you need to do is click on the three points which can be found at the top right of the publication. The next thing is to select from the options menu of the new window that has opened and choose "Change".
In the new screen of your mobile, you will be able to see that you have the caption on the image "Change information" and below it in the footer of the post the text ready for editing where you can correct the text. There you can make any corrections related to the footer of the publication.
To add a location, simply click on the option «Add location «, Which is in blue on the publication.
Tag people or add hashtags to an Instagram post
If you want to tag people, you can do this in two ways. One is to add the snail (@) before entering that person's username. This is if you know what their username is on Instagram. Or you can click on the image and search by name.
If it is an image where there are people, it is very likely that Instagram will detect faces with a box so that you can tag them. If, on the other hand, there are no faces in the image, you have the option to tag users by clicking on the black icon below the image.
The latter is simpler, because as you write their name, you will have a drop-down list with the names of the people you are following along with their profile picture.
Once you have made all the necessary changes, all you have to do is press the check mark button located at the top right of the publication so that, in this way, all the changes you have made are saved.
It may happen that once you have made the publication you realized that you forgot to add the famous hashtags. They are generally used as keywords in searches, to grow your post more and reach more people.
When you edit a post, you can add a hashtag in the photo caption along with the post text. To do this you need to place the number "#" in front of the word you want to highlight.
Another option you have and which works the same in the case of the hashtag is to add it in a comment, under the post.
If you wish in the future edit the publication again, keep in mind that you can do this as often as necessary.
