How to completely remove or uninstall a program without leaving the logs

When uninstalling a program, there is usually something left in the file log. And just by applying the option to uninstall a program, it doesn't do it completely. That is why we will teach you how to remove or completely uninstall a program without leaving any logs.

The first thing we will do is the following, we will go to Windows startup and go to My Computer. While there we will find the devices and disk drives. In general, when an application or program is installed, it does it by default on drive C. Unless you deliberately did this on another drive.

But in a normal way, the installation is done in this unit, so the next thing we will do is enter this unit, making a double clip. A window will open in which several folders appear and we need to select the folder Programs. We make a clip in this folder and other folders appear again.

Here we will look for the folder that contains the name of the program that we previously uninstalled. This is important, you must have uninstalled the program before doing this. When you find the folder, make a clip with the right mouse button, several options appear and you need to select Remove.

In cases where in your C drive, you see a 64-bit and 32-bit Program Files folder, you should look for the program folder in both files. This is to be sure that no information has been shared. In that case, let's go to both files and let's delete the program. And so we will have the C drive not manually registered

Go to registration

Another important step that we are going to perform is the following, in the same window in which we are in drive C. we will go to the upper part where the My PC SYSTEM (C) information appears and we will write the following instruction % appdata % and then press the Enter key.

Once this is done, it will take us to another window where a large number of folders appears, and at the top where we write the instructions, we will select AppData creating a clip.

Again we see other folders, but here we will select Local, create a clip and take us to other folders and here we will look for the folder that has the name of the uninstalled program.

Once this is done, you can go back to AppData and now you will select the Roaming folder, create a clip and in the folders that appear you will delete the one that refers to the uninstalled program. You have to be very careful to only delete the folders that have to do with the program, so as not to compromise other programs.

Now to finish we go out and go to Start and Run, we will write regedit e then we will click accept. Four folders appear and we will first choose HKEY CURRENT USER, distribute it, select the software and search for the program to delete it. We perform this same procedure in HKEY USER and in HKEY LOCAL MACHINE.

And in this easy and simple way you will have learned how to completely remove or uninstall a program without leaving records.
