  • All your data will be deleted: when you downgrade, all data stored on your device will be completely deleted. That is why it is highly recommended that you do a full backup of your mobile before reverting to a previous version.
  • Sometimes, formatting your mobile is just as effective: Since you are convinced to go back to an older version of Android, and therefore you will have to delete all data from the mobile, a good idea could be to format the mobile, as this simple process can solve some of your mobile problems, without this it means having to stop enjoying the news of the latest version of the system.

One of the best ROMs you can install, LineageOS

While it is an effective solution, I fear that the downgrade also has its drawbacks. However, they do exist alternative to the process of restoring an older version of Android which does not present much risk.

One of them is, as I said before, format your mobile. By deleting all your data and settings - with a previously created backup - it is very likely that the problems introduced by the new version disappear, and you will still be able to enjoy the changes and news of the latest version.

Another equally effective solution is to resort to third-party Android ROMs. Typically, these modified versions of the software introduce improvements and changes compared to the official editions. Therefore, installing a ROM can be a good idea if the latest software available for your mobile doesn't convince you, but you don't want or can't go back to a previous edition of the operating system.
