Another solution is to establish a waiting time with the screen on, so that the cellphone eventually turns off the screen even if it doesn't block it. You can do this by going into Settings from the main menu or from the shortcut you have at the top of the screen by sliding your finger down.

Standard options: Set unlock pattern, PIN or password
