How to make video calls on Instagram from my mobile
To be able to make video calls we must have the application installed on your device mobile. You can search and download it completely free from the Apple Store or Play Store. Otherwise you won't be able to access all Instagram features.
To make a video call you need to go to "Conversations". To do this, click on the message logo you have at the top right when you log in to the app.
Alternatively, you can find the profile of the person you want to video call and log in. Click on the box » Send Message " next to " Follow »At the top of the profile.
In the new conversation window that has opened, click on a video camera icon you have in the top right of the screen next to the contact's name and picture to start the video call.
You have several options during video call:
- One of these is rotate cameras with the arrows icon you have at the top right of the video.
- You can minimize the video call if you want to continue using other applications or browse Instagram, by tapping the square you have at the top left of the call. To enlarge it again, click on the same square.
- If you want turn off the video image, click on the camera you have on the left at the bottom of the call.
- remove audio from your video, press on the microphone in the center of the screen.
How to make video calls on Instagram from my PC
If you want make video calls from your PC, you must have the Instagram application for your desktop, as otherwise you will not be able to.
If you observe, when you try to access Instagram from its official website in your browser, you will have very limited functions that will not allow you to do things like, for example: enter your conversations, make some changes to customize your account, etc.
If you want to download Instagram for your PC you need to do the following:
If yours operating system is windows, go to Microsoft Store, search Instagram, download and install the app. Once you have the app on your PC, enter it and log in. this way you can get the same tools and functions as the app on your mobile device.
If you want download Instagram on a Mac, go to your browser and search for the Instagram app. Click the green download button.
When the process is complete, double-click the Instagram DMG file. Direct the file to the applications folder you have in the menu on the left of the screen. Once the installation is finished, you will be able to access it and start using it in the same way as your mobile.
To make one group video call on Instagram we will go to the app. Log in with your account and go to the conversations tab. Click on " + »To create a new conversation.
Choose the people you want to be part of the group. To add people, search for them by their username and click on the circle on the right so that they are selected with a blue check mark. When you are done adding all the members, you will have a chat with all the participants. Click the icon of video camera.
Remember that they cannot exceed four participants and that you can leave and rejoin the conversation again. The notification is more direct and you can see that there is a call in progress if you enter your chats and see the blue camera.
