After its latest beta, WhatsApp already allows you to mute videos before sending them. In this way it is possible share videos with images only, through a simple function integrated in the application's video editor.
Initially, this feature is available for people using WhatsApp Beta on their Android devices. However, it will soon end up being available to all users of the application, regardless of which platform they use the messaging app on.

- Choose the video you want to share.
- On the WhatsApp video editing screen, tap the speaker icon located in the upper left corner, below the timeline, to mute or unmute the audio.
- Finally, submit the video.

It is worth mentioning that, unlike what happens in other apps like Telegram, the option for send video without audio in WhatsApp it does not cause the video to be sent in GIF format. In any case, there remains the possibility of turn videos into GIFs before sending them.
