You just have to start importing the video you want to edit through the location in the menu main of Sony Vegas Pro. Now, you just have to drag the video to the so called timeline to start the process as such.

Now you will see that a window opens with all the available effects to apply to the video. Remember that you can crop the image you have there with the anchor points and adjust them as needed.

So, to censor through a mask, you need to go to the pop-up window which is on the left side of the screen and select the mask. Now click on the option which is shaped like a pen and in the part of «Apply FX» found in the Mask option click "Yes".

With this anchor, now draw the shape in the video you want to censor. Then, you will be able to see in the timeline a tab that says FX and look for the censorship effect you want most. There are all kinds of pixels you can choose from. When you select it, you will be able to see the censorship level and check it.

Now drag the effect to the top of the video. Remember that you can control the censorship effect with vertical and horizontal intervals in the options effect. Now that everything is ready, press the space bar on your keyboard and see how it turns out.
