To change the background color of each section in Divi, what you need to do first is go to the editor of any page. Then we create a section with the respective module. Being in the section window, let's go to the blue rectangle and make a clip on the icon of the three horizontal lines.

When you perform this action, it will show us a window with the name Section regulation module and we can see that it offers us the options to create content, change the design and the background. In the Background section on the right side we will see 4 icons. The first, from left to right, works to add a solid color to the background.

The second icon works to change the background, but by combining with two different colors, the third icon works to insert the image you prefer. And the fourth icon works to insert a video, in MP4 format. But you can also enter it in WEBM, in this tutorial we will focus only on the first two icons.




So, to get started, we're going to create a clip on the first icon, for change the background to a solid color. By doing so, it will show us a window, with several circles that contains the primary colors. Or in the upper part we can choose with the mouse, the different shades and shades of colors that it has in its palette.

After selecting the color that if you prefer, go to the bottom of the window and choose the Save and Exit option. When you exit, you should immediately create a clip on the Update option, which is located on the right side of the window. Now we select the link to the page and we can verify that the background change has been made, in the section that we indicate.

Now we will explain how to make the changes to the background or create a background, using the second option or icon, with the combination of two colors. To do this, we will go back to the Adjustment Module section and now we will create a clip on the second icon. This is in the Background section and you find it from left to right.



In this way, it will show us two options to choose from and in each of them a color, if we go down a little we will find other options. The first will allow us to choose the type of gradient and the others will allow us to make changes to the gradient. When we have finished choosing the background colors and to make adjustments, we must select the option Save and exit.
