- The idea is that you are looking for the device that says " Webcam »In case you haven't found it in the previous section. Just look for someone who says " Device image »depending on the brand of your computer, may appear in one or the other section.
- Once the webcam is located, all we need to do is right-click on it. A new menu appears and we will have to select the option that says » Disable «.
- A pop-up message appears warning us that disabling the device may stop working, which is exactly what we are looking for. Now what you have to do is confirm by clicking on » Yes «.
- Then you need to click again on » Yes »So that the computer restarts and the changes are applied correctly.
Enable or disable the laptop camera
In case you want to reactivate the camera to use it. It's not complicated at all as all you have to do is repeat the whole process.
When you get to the right-click part of the webcam device, you just have to choose » Enable " instead of " Disable »This way your webcam will work again so you can use it in any program you want.
