Now, wired headphones have a little problem compared to wireless headphones and that is that they break much more easily. To this we must add the fact that to work perfectly they also depend on the jack port so if it is damaged or not working, we will not be able to listen to music or podcasts.
Why is the headphone jack usually damaged?

When you carry your phone in your pocket or purse, it is possible that dirt has entered the jack, preventing the headset from making contact and thus 'not working'. Dust, lint, fiber… are usually the most frequent causes. Therefore, if something is actually stuck in the headphone port, it will have to be removed very carefully.
For this we will use a thin utensil such as a round toothpick or a pin. With it we will very carefully collect any dirt that may be trapped inside the port. Finally we will blow on the hole to finish removing any other rest.
The only thing we need to be very careful about is. If we do it suddenly, we can permanently damage the jack port, so there will be no solution. Remember that they are quite delicate parts of the device so you need to be patient and careful.
How to dry the plug if water has entered?
If for some reason water has entered the cap, the solution is a bit more complicated. It is possible that a glass of water was spilled on us or accidentally dropped into a swimming pool and this caused the headphone jack port to become blocked.
