Method 1: Directly from the Smart TV via the Internet
This option is usually presented automatically on the Smart TV and you should only allow the download of the new software update. For this to happen normally, you need to have a good Internet connection and, in turn, the correct configuration of this.
Therefore, to carry out the configuration you will have to select “Home” or “Menu” from the remote control of your Smart TV. Once in the menu with the help of the arrows, proceed to find the “Red” option and after finding it, mark “Ok”. Upon entering you will focus on accessing the "Network Configuration" option and then mark "Ok" and continue.
There you have to indicate the type of connection you will use through Wi-Fi or cable, then select your network or the one you will use. Method 2: using a USB
This procedure is much more manual than the previous one, but it is a good alternative if you are more into mechanics. First you need to go to the official Samsung website, search for the model of your Smart TV and select it there.
Within the model of your TV you should look for the "User manual and download" and select the “See more content” option. Then go directly to the “Download” option to find among its options the one it says "Update file (USB type)". It is recommended to select the one with a recent date before downloading.
When you download the new version of the software, you will need to download it or save it on a USB stick with sufficient space. Once inside the USB drive, you can connect it to your Smart TV to begin the update process.
Turn on your Smart TV and go to the menu to access "Technical assistance", you need to find the “Software Update” option.
