You may have come across a PDD file extension when searching for editable vectors or images, but this isn't a format you see very often. What is a PDD file?
When we work with a graphics and photo editing program, such as Illustrator and Photoshop, a file with a particular extension is created which can be opened and edited in that program. And sometimes even in other image editing or viewing programs.
In this case, a PDD file is a image file created with the Adobe PhotoDeluxe program. This is graphic editing software that simplifies many basic editing tasks and works with layers, lines, text and images. The latter makes it very similar to Photoshop's PSD format, which can be opened and used on an Android device, as well as laptops and desktops, as long as they have the right hardware.
It is important to keep in mind that, in order to work with a PDD file (or any file in an editable format) in the best possible way, it is advisable to have one big enough screen with good resolution, so you may have to adjust the screen resolution in Windows 10 or Mac OS X.
The Adobe PhotoDeluxe program has been discontinued and replaced by another more Photoshop-like program, called Adobe Photoshop Elements. Are there any other files with PDD extension?
there other files with PDD extension which are not image files, but contain Medtronic Programmer data. This is a program that allows you to store information collected by a Medtronic CareLink implantable hemodynamic sensor.
These cannot be opened with the programs mentioned above, as they can only be accessed via the Medtronic Chronicle software.
