This is how the internet emerged to become what it is today, there are many functions that are provided and the tools that we can get from the internet. The bond we have today with the world in general is very large compared to past years.

Currently we can have the internet in our homes and therefore be able to browse the web. How is it possible? This happens thanks to companies that are dedicated to providing Internet services to ordinary people like us.

This is also known as ISP, which is an acronym in English for Internet Service Provider or translated into Spanish “Internet Service Provider”. These companies are in charge of taking the Internet service and bringing it into our homes.

What are Internet Providers for?

Thanks to internet providers today it is possible to access the internet, they offer us the possibility to connect through access points. Our computer e electronic devices can access the Internet thanks to ISPs.

These are companies that are responsible for providing different access points for all people who require Internet service. Without the companies dedicated to this it would be impossible to access the web as easily as we do today.

All information and all data traffic that today crosses the web is possible because people can enter in such an easy way that before it would be impossible to imagine. Each of these people is responsible for uploading information of any kind, some more, some less, but in reality we all influence the Internet to be what it is today.

This was possible because the use of the Internet is now accessible to most people in the world. Thus another question arises, how do ISPs work?

How Internet Providers Work?

The companies that provide us with the internet service have hard work to do, first of all we must be clear that there are different types of ISPs. The first we will mention will be those known as Tier 1 e Tier 2.

These are the companies that they have internet access first. So those companies charge to allow smaller companies, like the ones providing us with the internet right now, to use their connections to access the internet.

In this way, these smaller companies are tasked with bringing the Internet into our homes. To carry out this process, the ISPs use several methods, among the best known we have ADSL, cable modem, GSM just to name a few.

In general, ISPs have to install many miles of cable to reach the end users, which is us. Then, through contracts, users are billed monthly so they can connect to their service.
