Connection to the router begins

Connect to the Internet
When we have made the connection with the router, it is necessary to proceed to the connection of said connection with Internet. This can be done with the modem cable or by means of a suitable device connection which will give the device direct access to the internet, with which the connection will also be provided.
Connect the address to the fixed IP
To obtain the fixed IP address, you must first request it, through an Internet provider. In some cases, this action may come at an additional cost, which is why you should check with yours ISP. It is important to register this IP connection in a safe place.
Starting with the routing of the camera on the Internet
When starting with routing, this process connects two types of PC networks, the local network and the public network. There IP camera will have an IP address that will not be valid, so you need to make this visible connection from Internet. To do this, the fastest way is to use a DMZ type configuration.
To do this, it is necessary to have access to the configuration of said router and, once inside, it is necessary to locate the section DMZDepending on the brand of the router, the location of this configuration will change.
When you find this section, you need to activate the DMZ and then enter the IP address of the network camera. Remember that the camera doesn't have to have a IP address fixed and can't even use DHCP.
Connect the camera remotely
When you have activated the DMZ together to the IP address, you can check this configuration simply using an external PC. To do this, you need to go through a process similar to that used to connect to the IP camera from a local network.
Usually a browser is used. To access it, you must enter Internet Explorer and in the URL section you must enter the following: http: //YYY.YYY.YYY.YYY
In the "Y" you need to enter the public fixed IP address that was previously provided by the Internet provider.
