Apple announces a virtual presentation for September 15th

Through a press release sent on September 8, Apple invited the press and users to its special event on September 15 at 10 a.m. Pacific time, 19 p.m. in Spain.

Like the last WWDC 2020 it will be a virtual event where pre-recorded presentations will take place, instead of being in the Steve Jobs auditorium with a live audience.

If you visit Apple's special event page using an iPhone or iPad, you can tap the event logo and an Augmented Reality animation will be activated. Just for fun.

Tim Cook will take care of the reception - it would not be strange that, given the breadth of the fronts that the App Store has opened (such as the fight with Fortnite, the investigations for monopolistic conduct in several countries and the protests of some developers by the low level of service they receive) take a few minutes to present account status, benefits it brings to developers, jobs created, etc.

Although Apple's tradition is to announce new iPhone models at this first event in September, production difficulties seem to indicate they will be delayed by a month, holding a new event in just four weeks to introduce the news.

The agenda could consist of the presentation of the new iPad Air (and perhaps more models), the presentation of the new collection of Apple Watch models, the noisy AppleTags and the launch of the new version of the operating systems of the different platforms: iOS, macOS, iPadOS, watchOS, etc.
