    Apple improves iMovie on iPad, iPhone and Mac

    The iMovie update brings new music wallpapers, new filters, bug fixes and stability improvements on both Mac, iOS and iPadOS.

    After yesterday 's Final Cut Pro X update, Apple has also released updates for iMovie on the iPhone, iPad and iMac.

    The version of iMovie for iPhone and iPad has become 2.2.10, incorporating three new filters, 25 new music wallpapers and some bug fixes that improve stability and performance. The release notes on the App Store say:




    • Use a hand drawing style in your videos with three new filters: Comic, Monochrome Comic and Ink Comic
    • Choose from 25 new soundtracks - in different genres: action, relaxed and sentimental, automatically adapted to the length of the movie.
    • Resolves an issue that could prevent the video from updating after duplicating a photo in the timeline
    • Improve the reliability of Redo when editing a trailer
    • Stability and performance improvements

    For those using macOS, iMovie (version 10.1.15) has five new filters, allows you to import projects from iMovie for iOS with support for new filters and stability improvements. The official note says:

    • Use a hand drawing style in your videos with five new filters: Comic, Monochrome Comic Old Comic, Sepia Comic and Ink Comic
    • Import iMovie for iOS projects with support for Comic, Comic Monochrome and Comic Ink filters
    • General stability improvements

    iMovie is a free download for anyone with an iPad, iPhone, Mac or MacBook and can be downloaded from the iOS App Store and the MacOS App Store.
