Apple Pay reaches Qonto customers

    Apple Pay reaches Qonto customers

Qonto, the new bank aimed at SMEs, startups and freelancers, incorporates Apple Pay as a new feature. This system is transforming mobile payments towards an easy, secure and private form of payment which, in turn, is fast and optimal.

Security and privacy are at the heart of Apple Pay. When using a credit or debit card with this system, the actual card number is not stored on the device or Apple servers. Instead, a unique device account number is assigned, encrypted and securely stored. Each transaction is authorized with a changing security code.

Apple Pay is easy to set up and users will continue to receive all the benefits and advantages of credit and debit cards. In stores, Apple Pay works with iPhone SE, iPhone 6 and later; even with Apple Watch.

Shopping online through apps and websites that accept Apple Pay is easy with Touch ID. There's also the option to authenticate via iPhone X's facial recognition. There's no need to manually fill out account forms or repeatedly enter shipping and billing information. Apple Pay works with iPhone 6 and later, iPhone SE, iPad Pro, iPad (5th generation), iPad Air 2, iPad mini 3 and later. You can also use Apple Pay in Safari on any Mac released since 2012 with the macOS Sierra update and confirm the payment with iPhone 6 and its later versions; Continue Apple Watch and Touch ID on the new MacBook Pro.
