Apple has posted a new video on its official regional YouTube channels for European countries that specifically focuses on the new privacy features that come with iOS 15 and iPadOS 15.
The video, titled "Privacy," begins with CEO Tim Cook speaking to the camera and explaining Apple's position:
At Apple, we believe that privacy is a fundamental human right. We work tirelessly to incorporate it into everything we do and it is critical to how we design every product and service we publish around the world.
While others have focused on making customers the product by gathering increasing amounts of personal information, we have kept the focus on how technology can work for people. And that means introducing a myriad of features that give users transparency and choices about how their data is collected, used and shared. You can check this with new tools like Privacy Nutrition Labels and App Tracking Transparency, which gives users more information, more options, and more transparency about how their data is used.
We know that privacy is a priority for our users in Europe and around the world. That's why we're always looking to set a higher level, with new tools that put people in the driver's seat when it comes to managing their data.

iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 are currently in developer beta, with a public beta next month, and the official release is slated to launch in the fall.
