WWDC 2021 schedule announced, keynote is June 7 at 10am PT

Apple has officially announced the programming of the Worldwide Developers Conference to be held in June, which will begin with the traditional keynote at 10:00 Pacific time (19:00 in Spain), on Monday, June 7th.

The keynote will be released directly from Apple Park. It can be viewed through Apple.com, the Apple Developer App, the Apple Developer Website, the Apple TV app, and on YouTube.

The remainder of WWDC will consist of the usual State of the Union of Platforms, followed by Keynote, the Apple Design Awards on June 10, and a number of other sessions throughout the week.




The WWDC will consist of more than 200 sessions and workshops, with more than a thousand Apple experts available to respond to requests from developers.

Apple is also rolling out a new feature called Pavillions that will allow developers to easily plan and organize their conference on specific topics like SwiftUI, Developer Tools, Accessibility and Inclusion, and more.

Presentation of the apple

On 7 June at 19:00 CET 
WWDC21 kicks off with the keynote, which will reveal the surprising news that will arrive at the end of the year on all Apple platforms. Broadcast live from Apple Park, the keynote will be available on apple.com, the Apple Developer app, the Apple TV app and YouTube, and can be viewed after the broadcast ends.

State of the Union platforms

June 7 at 23:00 CET 
This event will delve into the new tools, technologies and advancements coming across all Apple platforms to help developers build better apps than ever. The Platforms State of the Union event will be streamed live on the Apple Developer website and app.




Apple Design Awards

June 10, 23:00 CET
Each year, the Apple Design Awards celebrate the creativity, commitment and technical achievement of Apple developers. The Apple Design Awards will be streamed live on the Apple Developer app and website.

Access to experts

WWDC21 will include more than 200 in-depth sessions, one-on-one consultations and many other options for never-before-seen access to Apple engineers and designers, giving developers a better understanding of the latest tools and technologies to help them build the next generation of apps.

Apple Developer Program participants will be able to request one-on-one consultations with more than 1.000 Apple experts to help them learn more about the latest APIs and best practices, as well as ask for feedback on their user interfaces and designs.

Apple engineers will also be available to developer forum attendees to answer questions and resolve technical issues during the week. Starting June 8, session videos will be posted daily, which can be viewed in the Apple Developer app and website.

Special events

In addition to sessions and consultations with Apple engineers and designers, WWDC21 will include special activities and events designed to celebrate and strengthen the developer community.



There will be programming and design challenges, special guest introductions, and more.

Pavilions

The pavilions, new this year, will allow developers to enjoy consultations or hands-on sessions and special activities for certain topics.

Conference attendees will be able to focus on the content that interests them most, spread across specific areas such as SwiftUI, developer tools, inclusion and diversity, and more, all exclusively from the Apple Developer app.


On June 1, Apple will pay tribute to developers still in study around the world by announcing the winners of the Swift Student Challenge, an opportunity for students of all ages to show their passion for coding by creating their own playground in Swift.
