The first thing we will do is open our program, once open we go to the upper tab and choose the File tab. This is to find the photo or image, with which we will create the effect of pencil drawing.

When you select it, it will appear in our spreadsheet, now let's duplicate this image or layer. We'll do this with keyboard shortcuts, then we will press the key Ctrl and the J key.

If we look on the right side of the screen, we will find that the new layer has been created, we will remind you that in order to work with each layer, you must first select it.

This new layer we will remove the saturation, we will do it again using keyboard shortcuts. But now we will press the Ctrl, Shift and U keys, if it doesn't work that way, you can go to the top menu. There they select the Image tab, then create a clip in the Inspector and finally choose the Desaturate option.

Use of the different Photoshop tools

Once this is done, we duplicate this layer, to do it we press the Ctrl key again and then the J key. And it will show us on the right side that we have created a new layer. In this new level, we will invert the colors, to do this we will use a new keyboard shortcut and press the Ctrl key and then the I key.

After doing that, we will go to the right side and above the layers we will find the Normal option. Let's make a clip on it, several options will appear and we will choose Color Dodge. This action will make the image become all white, now let's go to the top menu and select the Filter tab.

So we will select the Blur option and then Gaussian Blur, this would allow us to see the photo with the effect of pencil drawing. But in the Gaussian Blur window that appears, we can make changes so that the photo looks the way we want, when you're done, we crop Ok.
