If you have a graphics card in NVIDIA in the lower left part of the screen you will find an application called NVIDIA that you need to enter and in the upper right you will find the option "Driver", you need to click there and you will see that there are updates available that you need to download. Once the download is complete, you need to restart your computer and log in again.
In case the application you are working with is not NVIDIA, you will have a similar application to update your drivers. Or go on «Device manager»> «Display cards»> Right click on your graphics card driver> «Update driver».

Check if you are trying to capture a window and if it is the correct window, if so. Try the "Screenshot" option. If you get the capture when you run this option, it means that OBS is working fine and the error is detected while capturing the application in windowed mode. Re-enter windowed mode and verify that you have selected the correct option.
You have to keep in mind that there are some applications that cannot be captured in windowed mode, so you will have to do it in full screen mode. But do not worry. Go to options OBS> Transform> Modify transform and crop the image, then select "Transform" e "Fit to screen".
