After years of waiting, widgets have arrived on iPhone and iPad with iOS 14. The new version of Apple's operating system introduces several new features that were already present in Android, including the ability to add widget to the home screen to complete icons and get more information from applications at a glance.
And the reality is that, as usual, although Apple is lagging behind, the implementation of its widgets is one of the best we've seen in an operating system so far in terms of consistency with the user interface. It is therefore not surprising that some Android users wanted to emulate the experience with iOS 14 widgets on their terminals, which is possible thanks to the freedom offered by the Google platform in terms of personalization.

Their goal was bring widgets as similar as possible to those of iOS 14 on Android, using some of the most popular customization apps and tools for Android. Therefore, he ended up using Nova Launcher and manager of widget KWGT. Once the topic has been developed, the results are as follows:
The best thing is that the user himself offers us the possibility to use this same theme on our android devices without much effort, since he published the files needed to import the style into Nova Launcher, as well as the KWGT widget files. All are available in a Google Drive folder.
Once you have downloaded the necessary files, all you have to do is import settings into Nova Launcher via the launcher settings menu, in the "Backup and import" section, selecting the option "Restore or manage backup copies" as we have seen in our guide to creating a copy of Nova Launcher. Of course, once the copy is restored, you can change icons, widgets and the rest of the home screen components such as wishes.
In the case of widgets, the process is even easier. It is only necessary place them on the main screen with the desired size, then open the application to select the configuration files you want to apply.
